More than Money

More than the good pay that CNAs receive for their Christian education, the interaction of the young with the old brings out a gentler side of the young students that sometimes can remain hidden. As the students learn to help and interact with the elderly they learn the art of service and receive more of a blessing than they came to receive.

CNAs Pay Their Way

The Certified Nursing Assistant program is one of the best ways that students can earn money for tuition and gain valuable experience in the medical field. At sixteen years of age students can take the CNA course and graduate in less than a year. Students who commit to the discipline and training that this course demands can earn starting wages between $9.00 and $12.50 per hour. To put this into perspective some students who complete the CNA program are able to pay their whole school bill at Indiana Academy.
